There is a market for instruments at every possible price point.IMHO most people do not buy the " real " expensive arrangers but go for the" traditional brands " ... am I right ?
But it's not a mass market.
Hence very specialized arrangers have their niche, their high prices and their customers.
For anyone thinking these are expensive, just look at what a flute might cost:

But does it make sense for some professional musician/orchestra to buy it?
