Yes, this is how it works. If a part without keyboard control is selected, then only this part will be triggered. If you select the performance (by tapping on the performance name), only the parts with keyboard control will be triggered. You can also press the button "PERFORMANCE (HOME)" to select the performance.For example, go to "Satellite." Tap "Kbd Ctrl" to turn off Part 4. When I play the keyboard, I would EXPECT to hear all parts EXCEPT p.4, but instead it's like I clicked "solo," because p.4 is all I hear (even though the Kbd Ctrl indicator is now off).
Same problem when I hit "Kbd Ctrl" for any other parts. It's only when I tap the "Type/Name" for an active part that I can hear what the performance really sounds like.
Is this how it's supposed to work? It has caused much confusion when I'm working with multiple parts and it adds so many more steps so I can hear what my real-time edits are doing. I recently upgraded from the Motif so I'm still learning. Thanks!
