Hey Everyone!
I really love the tones on my THRII & THR II A amps and while the official app is pretty great, I found myself wanting a bit more flexibility when finding different tones while I practice. So ended up throwing together a prototype app to switch, edit, and import presets.
It’s still a bit rough around the edges, but after using it for the last couple of days, it’s been a game changer for me. There’s something about exploring new tones that just makes me want to keep playing longer.
I recorded a quick screen capture to show you how it works and I’m curious to see if you think it’s something worth polishing up and maybe publishing. Right now, it’s only for Mac, but I don’t think it’d be too hard to adapt for iPad and iPhone (sorry, Android folks - the Apple platform is what I know).
The video shows me:
* connecting to both the THR30II and THR30IIA at the same time
* directly editing the amp presets
* quickly switching between different presets in my library (each preset gets synced to the amp it was designed for as I select it)
* importing multiple presets into my library at once
* creating a new preset from the amps current state
* creating a new preset by duplicating another preset
Would love to hear your thoughts!
