This was touched upon in an article way back concerning the electromagnetic sensor system and how it could be programmed to do much more than we currently have. One reason at the time I went with the M8x. I knew something would be coming but you know how sluggish Yamaha can be. So we'll see what they do with it hopefully sooner than later. Speculated to be PGX as Polyphonic Gesture Expression. Could this be a game changer?
