Dear fellow musicians,
Now I would like to introduce myself. I came across this beautiful forum by chance.
My name is Siegfried, I live in Germany and am now 85 years young.
In my youth I had piano lessons for 10 years. When I didn't want to play any more etudes during puberty and stopped learning my music teacher taught me jazz piano. Unlike most other teachers at the time he was able to do it.
Then came my studies and building up my existence, there was no more music for 10 years. Together with my wife, we had a pharmacy in a larger medical center for 39 years. When the first child was given to us, we couldn't go out so well in the evening, I started to build electronic organs (kits Dr. Böhm). In the course of my life there were 3, the last one I sold 5 years ago.
At some point you also go outside with music and it's difficult with the organs. So I bought a Technics KN3000. When Panasonic discontinued the brand, I joined Yamaha. I played them all from Tyros1 to Tyros5, then Genos and now Genos2. The peripheral equipment changes over the years. I currently play with Yamaha Stagepas600 and 2 expanders mainly in retirement homes. Older people are happy when they listen to old hits from their youth. By chance I also came to a vocal training in the classical sense, but that doesn't necessarily bother me.
All music lovers have fun with the hobby.
Kind regards Siegfried
