Yamaha reface forum • Reface CP control with an additional controller. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a limitation from Yamaha?

My Reface CP receives what I need from the main keyboard, and everything would be fine if I wasn't going to change types (sounds) from an external controller. I programmed the LaunchPad, connected it to a small USB-MIDI Host, this to the MERGE Box, switched the Reface to “MIDI Control” and I can change sounds at will. The problem is that I can't do anything with the effects - the knobs don't work.... Is there any advice to override this? Am I making some kind of mistake? I just want enough to change the type of sound from the controller, and handle the effects manually.
