Really? Do you have a good laptop? Have you tried an audio interface? The SX920 is playing digital samples through a processor, so there has to be delay with that too. There's always a delay between digital and analog, the question is when does it become noticeable. With a Focusrite interface, you can bring delay down to less than 3 milliseconds.

I used an M3 MacBook and a 2020 iPad Pro to experiment with the above mentioned VST's. But true, I don't have an audio interface and I bet that would help. I was just experimenting and had not considered buying an audio interface. Currently I prefer keyboards with all sampled sounds built in rather than going the VST/controller route.
