Good point! The expansion experience seems geared towards those who do ethnic or non-Western music. So if you play Chinese pop hits or Mariachi music, you can bring some depth to your styles and sounds. For those who want to bring extra depth to pop music like jazz, country, rock, pop, ballroom, R&B, etc. Yamaha doesn't offer any expansion packs, and they no longer create aftermarket styles.hi NASAMike,I'm just curious how long that will take... Genos2 is on the market for almost a year and there isn't a single expansion pack available. So right now we can't use the old Expansion Packs until Yamaha updates for sx920?
But then I only use about five voices from all those expansion packs available for my SX700. Considering that SX920/720 comes with many new voices already onboard, I actually see no need for additional packs -unless Yamaha would make something exceptional.

I haven't explored the third party packs much, but I did get the Ghenos pack which I thought was excellent for the SX900. Maybe they'll make a Ghenos2 pack for the SX920.
