Yamaha Montage and Montage M Forum • Re: You cannot exclude parts/key ranges from triggering CAT?

I know how to setup the bass not responding to CAT, but that is not the issue here. I just don't want the bass to trigger CAT for the horns part (as a example), which happens to me all the time during a show. If there is effectively "only one sensor for the whole keybed" probably means I cannot do it, or i`m missing something.
For clarification: Most multi-timbral keyboards of the past 40 years with channel aftertouch behave this way.

I do not really see the issue. Aftertouch on the Yamaha Montage is a bit more sensitive than on other keyboards, and it is easier to trigger it accidentally than it is on some other keyboards. However, I think it is still controllable, and I have the feeling that I can avoid triggering it accidentally when necessary.
